What do you mean by "communications" anyway?
Basic communications systems include regular meetings with prepared agendas, reports by key managers so information can be shared, and a free exchange of ideas. Depending on the size and developed level of the company these meetings can take many forms — for the board, for the management team, and for the family. It's important that these meetings be scheduled regularly, adhere to an agenda, and keep to a limited time so they don't get in the way of operations.
